Yunwen Hu
was born in 1996 in Deyang, China. She studied animation for four years at
Chengdu Neusoft University, where she developed a passion for comics and
illustration. After moving to Europe, she pursued her studies in comics at the
Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna and later at ESA Saint-Luc in Brussels. Her
work explores themes of self-discovery, transformation, and the mundane magic
of everyday life, drawing inspiration from her cross-cultural experiences.
Yunwen’s art has been exhibited in various international shows, and she frequently
collaborates with publishers and cultural institutions. Besides her artistic
practice, she works as an illustrator for both adult and children’s media,
adapting her style across different visual and narrative contexts.(03/09/1996)
